CSPC’s B7-H3 ADC SYS6043 secures Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China for platinum-resistant Ovarian cancer (Ref)


CSPC Pharmaceutical's antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) SYS6043, targeting B7-H3, has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from China’s NMPA for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal carcinoma, and fallopian tube cancer as monotherapy


SYS6043 showed more durable anti-tumor activity than non-platinum chemotherapy and AbbVie’s mirvetuximab soravtansine (Elahere), with progression-free survival roughly doubled and a manageable safety profile. However, no specific response rates or patient numbers were disclosed


SYS6043 has entered a Phase III confirmatory trial in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer
